She’s Going to Hollywood!
Rita Strohl was reluctant to answer her phone last Friday morning when the caller ID read “State of Kansas.” She thought it was more than likely the government calling with another farm survey, but the caller turned out to the the Kansas State Lottery calling to give her the news that the losing scratch ticket she’d sent in was a winner in the Deal or No Deal drawing.  Rita is one of three grand prize winners announced Friday.  Each grand prize package includes round-trip airfare, transfers, hotel accommodations for four nights, the opportunity to be selected to play the daily version of the Deal or No Deal non-broadcast game on the Hollywood set, and mandatory income withholding taxes. Total value of each grand prize is approximately $11,150.
